Richard Elden is the owner of dbest products, a line of collapsible carts and rolling storage units. He pitched his successful luggage business on Shark Tank in February 2017 mostly because he needed capital. He said he had $1 million worth of orders he couldn’t fulfill. On Shark Tank, Elden received a number of offers but finally accepted one with “his dream team” Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner — $350,000 for 20 percent with $2 million in financing at 15 percent interest.

The Shark Tank episode featuring Elden and dbest products is re-airing on June 23), one week after Elden was invited to his old high school — Armenian Prelacy of the Western United States in La Crescenta, CA (class of 1992) – to deliver the keynote speech. The school is also hosting a party to watch Elden’s rerun Shark Tank episode. See below.
